The mission of the Wolfeboro Nordic Youth Development Program is to foster good technical skills and enthusiasm for Nordic skiing. The Wolfeboro Nordic Youth Development Program builds relationships while creating a community – a cross-country skiing community. This community supports everyone from purely recreational skiers to racers. The environment is positive, supportive and nurturing for all participants.

The Wolfeboro Cross Country Ski Association’s Sewall Woods lodge and Abenaki Nordic Ski lodge serves as the home for the Youth Cross County Ski Development Program. We have a regular schedule of activities that will keep kids involved and interested. Instructors/coaches will work to develop and foster a love for Nordic skiing, and skiers will learn both skate and classical techniques. There will be plenty of instruction, backcountry adventures and casual tours with fun and games along the way!

This Wolfeboro Nordic Youth Development Program is open to any skier, age 6 to 13, who is interested in getting out on the trails, learning about skate and classical techniques and enjoying the fun and camaraderie of Nordic skiing.

Costs and Benefits

The Wolfeboro Nordic Youth Development Program cost is $40, which covers sessions, game equipment, and includes club membership with the New England Nordic Ski Association.
