The year was 1972 when Verna and Cal Flagg of Wolfeboro (pictured above in the postcard at the Wolfeboro town docks) started a Nordic Ski Specialty Shop along with a modest Nordic Ski Trail System that now totals 30km, providing top quality grooming and terrain for recreational and competitive skiers.
Since 1972, The Nordic Skier and Wolfeboro XC have joined as partners in the pursuit of a top notch nordic ski center. Over the years we have had a working relationship with land owners in order to pursue the passion of cross country skiing.
